The Salomon Thundercross gives a dynamic, cushioned ride with exceptional grip and a precise foothold thanks to aggressive 5mm lugs which can tackle any terrain. In the upper, the Thudercross comes with Sensifit construction for a precise foothold and cushioned comfort. This involves welded overlays to wrap the foot. The upper also gets the Salomon trademark Quick Lacing System which provides a strong lace with one-pull tightening, all done with minimal effort. Any excess lace goes neatly into the lace pocket.The midsole consists of Energy Foam to give a springy and comfortable feel with a fluid ride. The base of the midsole is firmer than the upper layer. This further helps to absorb shock and protect the foot from anything with sharper edges. Contragrip gives a solid grip on soft surfaces and rough terrain including muddy trails. You will also find this to be extremely durable.
