The Burnham Beeches Half Marathon and 10K offers a choice of two distances, both on a mix of closed roads and hard-surfaced paths through the cool shade of the Burnham Beeches ancient woodland in South Bucks. It’s the perfect setting for a summer half marathon or 10K.

The Half Marathon starts at 9:15 am and the 10k at 9:30 am.
What to wear
A road or 'multi-terrain' shoe.

Marlow Half Marathon, 7 Mile & 10k - Sunday 1st November 2026
The Marlow Half Marathon, The Frankenstein & Marlow 7 on 1 November 2026 is a popular annual charity event organised by the Marlow Striders.
The Marlow Half Marathon, this year in its 38th edition, is a challenging, but beautiful course and its sister event, the Marlow 7 Mile, although shorter, is also quite testing. Both are circular courses, that are fully signed and marshalled, with mile markers.
The Frankenstein is a multi-terrain event, approximately 10km with one third on road and two thirds on trails – named in honour of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” which she completed whilst living in Marlow.
Distances/Events:
The Frankenstein ~ 10K multi-terrain
7 mile road race
Half Marathon
What to wear
A 'road' shoe is ideal for the 7 and the half marathon.
A 'light trail' or multi-terrain shoe for the 10k
Rugged Radnage - Sunday 15th November 2026
The Rugged Radnage is a challenging multi-terrain 5&10K race set in the Chiltern Hills, raising money for the village school.
Both races start next to the village hall on Green Lane, then follow a varied off-road course that provides steep up and down hills, rutted paths, beautiful Chiltern countryside, finished off with a final killer climb after which there's just 500m to the finish.
Expect some brilliant, runnable trails and plenty of mud. Just make sure to leave something in the tank for the hill to the finish. A great atmosphere and big smiles guaranteed!
What to wear
This usually a muddy one, a good 'grippy' trail shoe will be best.
Mapledurham 10km, 10 mile & Half Marathon - Sunday 29th November 2026
Something of a classic on the trail run calendar, the Mapledurham 10 and half will be back in 2026 for it's 13th year.
The 10km, 10 mile & Half Marathon courses are some of our absolute favourites, and take in the gorgeous Mapledurham Estate, taking you through a variety of muddy paths, woodland trails, private estate roads and across fields and up and down a few hills!!!
Complimentary mulled wine & mince pies (vegan friendly) available when you finish.
What to wear
Mixed terrain races so a mixed terrain shoe is ideal.
We recommend the Saucony TR2, 361 Futura or Hoka Speedgoat among others.
