We're incredibly fortunate to have so many great events on our doorstep

Run the Rock - Saturday 11th June 2022

Always a great atmosphere at this challenging off road event that offers both 5 and 10km options and, once again, there will be a children's race.

All funds raised go to Stokenchurch Primary School and other local charities, this is a real community event bringing together runners, friends and family from all walks of life.

What to wear

A 'light' trail shoe is ideal.

Midsummer Murder - Sunday 26th June 2022

Following the success of last year's inaugural 10 mile race, a NEW Half Marathon course has been added.

The Midsummer Murder takes place in the truly remarkable Hambleden Valley; expect mile after mile of staggering Chilterns' beauty, picture perfect flint stone villages, country pubs and a fair few hills in either race.

What to wear

A 'light' trail shoe is ideal.

Burford Bolt - Sunday 3rd July 2022

A lovely mixed terrain event run from Burford school in Marlow Bottom. After a gentle start on the road, the race gets more challenging, with some very challenging climbs.

10km and 5km options and a fun run.

What to wear

Either a light trail or road shoe.

Bearbrook 10km - Sunday 7th August 2022

A fairly flat and fast 10k course, starting and finishing at Aylesbury Rugby Football club.

The downhill finish of this race makes for a fun, fast finish!

What to wear

A road shoe is ideal.

Burnham Beeches Half Marathon & 10km - Sunday 14th August 2022

Both distances are run on a mix of closed roads and hard surfaced woodland paths through the cool shade of the Burnham Beeches ancient woodland in South Bucks.

The perfect setting for a summer half marathon or 10km.

What to wear

A 'light' trail shoe.

Maidenhead Half - Sunday 4th September 2022

Strive for that PB with this fast and flat Half Marathon.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a first-time Half-Marathoner this course is a great experience.

What to wear

A road shoe is ideal.

Marlow 10 - Sunday 18th September 2022

Now in its second year, the Marlow 10 starts and finishes at Gossmore Recreation Ground.

Founded to celebrate 10 years of Runners' Retreat serving the local community; the Marlow 10 offers both 10km and 10 mile multi terrain courses that are challenging yet absolutely beautiful.

The scenery is worth the effort!

Marlow Half Marathon and 7 Mile - Sunday 6th November 2022

Mile upon mile of good running on virtually traffic free country lanes.

Whether opting for the Half Marathon or the 7 mile option, the charm of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will inspire you to run your best.

A 'road' shoe is ideal

Rugged Radnage - Sunday 20th November 2022

The Rugged Radnage is a challenging multi-terrain 5 & 10km race set in the Chiltern Hills, raising money for the Radnage village school.

Expect some brilliant, runnable trails and plenty of mud. Just make sure to leave something in the tank for the hill to the finish!

What to wear

This is usually a muddy one, a good 'grippy' trail shoe will be best.
